Making a Direct “One-to-One” Call
• Dial the number of the station you wish to call, or press a programmed DAK (Direct Access / Speed Dial) key.
• This will send a call request. The receiving station will behave according to its settings:
Open Mode
– The call opens automatically into hands-free two-way communication.
– No action is required by the receiving staff member.
Private Mode
– The receiving station will ring.
– The staff member must press the “M” key to answer the call.
Making an “All Call” Announcement
• Dial 84, or press a programmed DAK key for ALL CALL.
• A chime will sound.
• After the chime, press and hold the “M” key while speaking your announcement.
• Release the “M” key when finished.
Direct Staff Response – Dial 99
If you need a specific individual to respond directly, ask them to dial 99 from any station.
This will immediately connect their station to yours for direct communication.
Calling a “Noisy Area”
• When calling a noisy environment, you may need to press and hold the “M” key while speaking.
• Release the “M” key to listen.
Group Call
• Group Calls allow announcements to predefined areas within the system.
• These groups must be configured by your system administrator or management team.
Setting Your Station to Open or Private Mode
- On the station display, select Menu.
- Scroll using the UP or DOWN keys to Auto Answer.
- Choose ON (Open Mode) or OFF (Private Mode) using the UP/DOWN keys.
- Press Sel.
- Press Back.
- When asked to save changes, select YES.
