Theatre to Control Room Intercom Description
Theatre to Control Room Intercom between the staff in the Theatre and the control room is provided via a speaker and microphone mounted in the ceiling of the theatre and a master station in the control room.
The control room can listen to the theatre and if they need to speak to the theatre they press and hold the “T” button to talk.
This system is installed in a number of hospitals in the UK.
Operation
To communicate with the staff in the theatre press the “Call” key, this will open the communication system in Listen to only mode , then press and hold the “PTT” key to talk to the theatre, let go to return to listen mode
Staff in the theatre cannot hear the operator without the “PTT” key being pressed
When Pressing the “PTT” key the relay will cut music from Avid if fitted
To cancel the communications press “Cancel”
