Intercom Operation
To communicate with the lab, press the “Call” key, this will open the communication system in Listen only mode then press and hold the “PTT” key to talk to the lab, let go to return to listen mode
Staff in the lab cannot hear the operator without the “PTT” key being pressed
When Pressing the “PTT” key the relay will cut music from Avid if fitted
Close System
To cancel all communications (Switch OFF) press “Close”
Installation
- The control room station should be mounted for easy operator access.
- The system control box should be mounted in the control room.
- The cable between the Control room station and the control box is a CAT5/6 cable
- Power is required at the System control box
- The cable for microphone should be screened microphone cable 31-059 CANFORD FST-LFH CABLE 1 pair Black or equivalent
- The speaker requires 2 core speaker cable Speaker Cable 224-GY West Penn Wire or equivalent
